The Merlin Theatre
The Merlin Theatre organise a variety of arts based activities for children and young people. We run 6 different weekly groups
In the Summer Holidays there is a Youth Theatre Summer School and in the Easter and Summer Holidays Logan West Productions run a Musical Theatre course. Our community pantomime in December has roles for children and young people. Auditions for principal characters are in july, with auditions for children's characters, dancers and chorus parts in September. July, with auditions for children’s, dancers and chorus parts are in September.

Bojangles dance school is situated within Frome Dance Centre. All classes are held in a fully equipped Dance Studio. Classes are available for all age’s and abilities.

Frome Symphony
Frome Symphony welcomes new members, particularly those who play stringed instruments. If you’ve never played in an orchestra, or are returning to playing after a break, then Frome Symphony has a place for you. Membership of Frome Symphony gives you the chance to discover new music and revisit popular classics, and take part in concerts, workshops and social events. There are no auditions, and admission is by an informal procedure.

We offer tuition in our studios for piano and keyboard also for acoustic, electric and bass guitar. Many of our courses are for absolute beginners, however we can also offer lessons for different levels of player from intermediate to advanced.
Lessons are taught from 3.50pm onwards each afternoon and all day on Saturdays during term time.
Periodically lesson times may be reviewed and students transferred to a different group to ensure each pupil can learn at the rate best suited to them.
